動名詞與不定詞gerund/infinitive

動名詞與不定詞題先看空格前面的動詞或介系詞。前面的字決定後面接 V-ing 還是 to V。

主詞 + 動詞 + V-ing / to V（由前面的動詞決定）

3中英對照

  • suggest / consider / avoid + V-ing建議、考慮、避免做某事這些動詞後面接 V-ing，不接 to V
  • recommend / postpone + V-ing推薦、延後做某事後面接 V-ing；recommend 也可以接 that 子句
  • agree / decide / plan + to V同意、決定、計畫做某事這些動詞後面接 to V
  • before / after / by / without + V-ing在做之前、之後、藉由、沒有做介系詞後面一律接 V-ing
  • look forward to meeting you期待與你見面這裡的 to 是介系詞，後面接 V-ing
  • encourage / ask + someone + to V鼓勵、請某人做某事動詞 + 受詞 + to V
